Cage ladders

The Health and Safety Act stipulates that employers must enable their employees to work safely. The standards specifying the legal requirements cage ladders must meet are laid down in the NEN-EN 14122-4 cage ladder standard.

Besides the responsibility you have as an employer for your employees, you are also (personally) legally liable for the consequences of accidents -with or without permanent injury- . In addition, many insurance companies require in their policy conditions that company equipment be inspected periodically.

The inspection of cage ladders is a legal obligation and should be carried out periodically. The minimum inspection period is 1 year.

Working method of INSPERRO:
